About the event

Organization: CDA Library

Meet nature’s original master craftsmen! This is a destination program for adventurous families that love getting outdoors to enjoy nature. Each week of this storytime at Higgens Point State Park will focus on an intriguing woodland creature, their “craft”, and the science behind it. We will also create a special project that’s inspired by animals and nature. While all ages are welcome, this program is designed for ages 4-10. Participants should allow time to hike an easy third-of-a-mile (paved) trail from the Higgens Point parking lot (at the end of E. Coeur d’Alene Lake Dr) up to the picnic shelter where storytime will take place.
